Advantages of power frequency ups and high frequency UPS

Under the same index, for example, when the input power factor is required to be more than 0.95, the power frequency machine UPS must be added with harmonic filter or changed to 12 pulse rectification, that is, adding a device in front and an output transformer will add two links more than the high frequency machine UPS, as shown in Figure 1. Due to the influence of both, the efficiency of power frequency machine UPS is 5% lower than that of high frequency machine ups. At the same capacity of 100kW, the power frequency machine UPS consumes 50000 kwh more than the high frequency machine UPS every year! 2. High input power factor
Generally, the input circuit of power frequency UPS below 200KVA adopts thyristor 6 pulse rectification, the input power factor does not exceed 0.8, and the harmonic current is 30%. If the front boundary generator, the capacity of the generator shall be at least 3 times the power of UPS; In case of single-phase low-power UPS, the capacity of the generator shall be at least 5 times the power of ups.
Power frequency UPS is not easy to adapt to the change of ± 15% of input voltage; The high-frequency UPS even adapts to the change of input voltage of more than ± 30%, which greatly prolongs the service life of the battery.
In short, the high-frequency machine UPS can not only completely replace the power frequency machine UPS in performance, but also have more characteristics than the former.
